The project addresses some of the main problems described above, such as insufficiently developed social infrastructure,outdated equipment,lack of close joint activities and measures for improvement of socio-economic situation in both municipalities and i The improved through the project school sport infrastructure will significantly improve educational conditions in both municipalities and will create base for exchange of good practices in this field.The improved social sport infrastructure in Botevgrad a Achievements: The project achieved the following results:- Four basketball playgrounds, changing rooms and a parking lot were built in Botevgrad;- A major reconstruction of the schoolyard of the Kral Petar I school in Palilula municipality;- Developed joint sports and tourist programme for the two municipalities in three languages;- Strengthened the administrative capacity of the two municipalities for implementation of IPA projects;- Implemented a comprehensive media campaign for popularization of the project.
