The project "Mobilization of personnel to promote internationalization at school in international classes and student exchanges" was initiated against the background of the increasing number of students with a refugee background. It was also initiated to expand the practical methods used in our student exchange programmes. One aim of the project is to make the integration of refugees into the normal school day as motivating as possible for the students to be integrated. The project coordinator will therefore participate in the training of teachers for new methods in teaching English in order to consolidate her practical knowledge of English and to acquire new learning methods for the daily English lessons. The new teaching methods may be of great importance in the integration work with the new students, but also for the convergence of new and old students to co-operate on the same level (both groups of students must act in the neutral language English). The teaching methods and practical knowledge with digital media can be used in the implementation of student exchange programmes.Through the use of new teaching methods with groups of students with and without refugee background internationalization at our school is, above all, a great goal that can be reached through the project work with students.The expected long-term aim will be the acceptance of methods (eg. eTwinning) by the students and the increased use of new communication possibilities in the work with students, in which they increasingly communicate in the target language English at school and in their free time.
