Mediepedagogik
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Within the framework of our goals and objectives, our pre-school and educators have a need for gaining and deepening knowledge and skills for work with ‘media pedagogy’. Through this planned European training, the participants will serve as ‘pilots’ towards and together with all the pre-schools in the school district. Being able to use multimedia and information technology in the application of different processes built on children’s terms and conditions is one of our goals at the pre-school. The curriculum (lpfö10) states and includes the use of multimedia and information technology in the educational work. These working methods bring us evolving practices, which in turn contribute to higher educational quality in pre-school. Furthermore, it is important that the pre-school develops an international perspective in order to learn from colleagues in other countries. One ambition is to make contacts and continue to cooperate with other colleagues participating at the training and to try to develop further cooperation through the use of the eTwinning platform. We seek training to gain knowledge of new working methods, advanced ability to transform new experiences into media educational work in children's groups. The course participants will reflect on what strategy we will use in pedagogical work, both in educators' own daily practice and in the pre-school’s strategic planning. Through new pedagogical competences, also the children will concretely benefit from the experiences gained at training.
