The water sport associations of the two twinning towns plan common water tourism events for the youth and inhabitants. One of them will be a Bratislava-Budapest Danube water tour to which the prime ministers and members of the parliaments from Slovakia and Hungary will be invited, so supporting the improvement of communication and cooperation between the two countries. Achievements: The water sport associations in Slovakia (Kajak canoe klub Šamorín) and Hungary (Mosonmagyaróvári Vízisport Egyesület) organised common water tourism events for the youth and inhabitants in order to support the improvement of communication and cooperation between the twinnig towns, Šamorín and Mosonmagyaróvár. In the frame of the project the partners organised a summer camp for the young people and a 4-day water tour on the river Danube from Bratislava to Budapest, connecting the two countries. The symbol of the joint realization of the project was a boat for 35 persons manufactured and developed specifically for this purpose. The project partners invited the prime ministers of the two countries simbolically as well with the intent to promote the reconciliation between the inhabitants of the two countries.
