The Project “Effective Benchmarking for Quality Development” was designed to improve the quality of the education given in Kocaalan Regional Primary Boarding School on the basis of Innovative Development. Continuity of development, catching up quality is only possible with development of “individual’ quality”. Therefore to provide a qualified development, it is significant to transfer knowledge and exchange of good practices. The aim of this Project is to contribute the development of education in our school by a set of courses, onsite observation and benchmarking activities towards achiving quality staff competencies mentioned in the school’s European Development Plan. In this context, Kocaalan Regional Primary Boarding School will send its young and dynamic staff to two different courses in which they will be able to attend the trainings, seminars, study visits and onsite observations at schools. The course named "Best Practices Benchmarking” which will be held in Finland and 2 different teams will participate in this course on different dates. To the course which will take place in Spain and Iceland titled “Structured Study Visit to Schools/Institutes & Training Seminar" which has somewhat similar content, two different teams will participate on different dates. In these courses school staff will be trained on innovation in education, digitalization, management, support of students, in service trainings, European Dimension and Erasmus+ mobilities and other transnational collaboration topics and job shadowing. At the end of the Project,participants will be able to develop an innovative vision for school and will play an active role in transferring to digital education process, have an innovative perspective for education, that will both online and in reality be able to establish international collaborations and acquire competences that will contribute to the internationalization of the school. By means of those collaborations the innovative effect of the Project will be sustainable and contribute greatly to the qualitydevelopment of the school.
