Improving the teaching-experience
Start date: 01 Jul 2016,
End date: 30 Jun 2017
This project aims at raising the competencies and skills of staff in adult education in order to increase the quality of teaching and learning in all forms and to make them relevant to the needs of the school. Three teachers (out of eleven) will participate to three different courses in Europe:1) Methodology and Language Developement Course for English Teachers2) Innovative Teaching Methods3) Blended Learning in Language Education with Russell StannardTeachers should be given the opportunity to broaden their knowledge on different ‘learning styles’, improve their ICT skills and their linguistic competence in English. As a consequence, we hope that this mobility project will help to cope betetr with the wide scope of students we have at school, offering them some new ICT support. This should result in a decreasing of dropout and failure rates. A wider sense of European educational identity will be added to our school curriculum as new methods, experiences, materials and good practices will be included in the pedagogical programs of our institution. Thanks to this project, teachers and students will become open to get involved in other European projects and will gain confidence through new experiences. They will be motivated, self-confident, linguistically skilled and will acquire intercultural competences to travel and work in Europe and to improve their position on the European labor market.
