Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Sep 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The école supérieure d'arts et médias de Caen/Cherbourg was born in 2011, from the merging of the art school of Caen (founded in 1795) and the art school of Cherbourg (founded in 1912). It has worked internationally for thirty years, and it has held an Erasmus charter since 2005-2006. Every year since then, ésam Caen/Cherbourg participates in the Erasmus programme by encouraging students and staff to travel abroad. The school's main goal is to increase the number of mobilities every year. Another aim is also to widen the audience (students, teaching staff, technical staff, administrative staff) and the types of mobilities (studies, internships, training, teaching). In 2015-2016, the school has 25 international partners, 17 of them in the frame of the Erasmus+ program. Seven people have taken part in the program this year : - Three students for a one-semester study period (in Italy, United Kingdom and Latvia) - Two technicians and one professor for staff training (in Latvia, Germany and Norway) - One professor for a teaching mobility (in Spain) The school also received two students from partner schools in the frame of the Erasmus+ program. All exchanges have been made with schools we work with frequently.
