Higher education student and staff mobility project
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Sep 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school was founded in 1992 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Doubs to help regional businesses to expand in international markets. Originally, the curriculum was composed of four years of studies. To comply with the European standards, the program turned into Bachelor (bac + 3), still with a large international dimension. In the first year, students acquire the basic marketing, management, international sales and management techniques. They make a first mandatory internship in a foreign company, from 8 weeks to 3 months, to develop their languages (English, German or Spanish). During the second year, students consolidate their skills to be able to hold office for sale and international management. The 1st half of the 3rd year is a semester of study in the compulsory curriculum. The objective is to acquire new skills, adapt to different teaching methods with specific rules and lifestyle of each country. In the second half, the student must find an internship abroad, but not necessarily in the European Union. Some students choose to do it in a French company having contacts with foreign markets or to go to Asia or to America to be in contact with American customers. The main objectives are for our students to experiment, organize, adapt, reach out to others. This is what we have to do in a business context. These periods of studies or training, financed by the European Union, bring additional opportunities to find a job at the end of the cursus.
