Digital didaktikk og vurdering for læring
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Jul 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Løkeberg School is seeking to upgrade its competence within digital didactic and assessment for learning. These are the school’s main priority areas, in accordance with our municipality, Bærum Kommune’s plan for quality “Improved Learning” 2012-2016. We have digital whiteboards in every classroom. Bærum Kommune is now considering whether all pupils should be given their own digital tablet/ipad and we wish to see how we can implement this in the best possible way to optimise pupil learning. We are aware that this means changes in our pedagogical methods. We think that learning by observing how others already do this, will prove the best approach. We wish to improve our competence in this field, and thus better meet the challenge, through school visits, dialogue, e-twinning projects and continuing educational courses. Forty teachers and four school leaders (head teacher and three heads of departments) will take part in this raising of competence. We wish to use this new knowledge in our work with the pupils at Løkeberg School. A whole new world of digital learning has opened up and our children are born into this new age. Our school must acknowledge the society we are a part of and utilise the opportunities technology affords for enhancing learning. We believe that excellent digital didactic and assessment for learning will ensure that we are able to give better differentiated instruction, something that will result in greater motivation and improved learning results for our pupils.
