Building Bridges through Innovation and multilingual educationThe projects in the long run, wants to achieve the following: Through making contact with teachers from around Europe we want to improve our international relations as well as the teaching of foreign languages with regard to the European Dimension. Therefore teachers chose Teacher Training Courses which will enhance further development in these fields. To secure and improve the quality of our foreign language teaching, it is essential for the teachers to improve their language skills in countries where the language is actually spoken and where the respective "culture is lived". For the students to receive a broader view on the language itself, the respective culture and on language learning, they have to be given other opportunities to learn the languages as well. Such an opportunity, especially for students who did not have the desired result through the conventional language learning methodology, a CLIL setting may be another way of motivation.International Seminars provide the opportunity to meet people from different countries and cultures from all over Europe and might lead to personal contacts and ideally to school partnerships and multilateral projects in the future (face - to - face as well as virtually). Establishing international contacts and bringing the European dimension into our school is the longterm goal and a valuable side-product of International Teacher Training Courses. School partnerships do not only enhance better cultural understanding of the students and teachers but they also strengthen the social competences of the participants, they have a unifying goal and share a special group experience.Teachers mobility with respect to language learning leads to better educated and motivated teachers and ultimately might lead to an improvement of our language teaching and language speaking skills of our students. Trained teachers secure the quality of teaching, facilitate the European thought and motivate students to actively the foreign languages learned in the classroom.
