Our school, Pilisvörösvári Templom Téri Német Nemzetiségi Általános Iskola ( Elementary School at Church Square, Pilisvorosvar) is the oldest and largest educational institution in our town. Its image is defined by children-orientation and goal-oriented education whereas its main profile is determined by second language teaching. Four years ago a bilingual class was introduced at our school. This is the first year when english language is taught in SEN clsses. The introduction of English as a second language is under elaboration in the first grade in September in 2016. Beside an effective language knowledge the usage of ITC technology and WEB2.o tools during the lessons provide the basement of modernization. Modernization allows to raise students with update knowledge. Other main goals In our Pedagogical Programme are to raise pupils who are socially sensitive, co-operative, capable of doing independent work and honour other cultures and people.We are only able to achieve these goals if our teachers are continuously looking for opportunities which improve their technical knowledge, broaden their present store of learning and develop their pedagogical competences. Therefore, we can accomplish quality language teaching at high standards, we can use modern technology and improve the attitude and personality of our students. Considering these angles and in order to achieve our goals our institution intends to take part in Erasmus+ KA1 Mobility Project, which offers the opportunity for our teachers to rejuvenate and strengthen the intercultural attitude.Taking part in the project is realised by attending teacher training courses. The most important aspects for choosing the appropriate course were the needs of the institution and those of the candidates. Language teachers and teachers who speak a foreign language participate in the courses primarily. We are planning the attendance of eight teachers altogether. The realisation of our project will definitely make our teachers and students more open-minded and adoptive. It will have a positive effect not only on the internal life but also on the external evaluation of our school.
