International traffic between the UK and continental Europe is a specific territorial issue which the partnership will address through sustainable distribution and the economic development of ports. They will also develop a maritime integrated network and strategy.

The project lasts from November 2007 to October2009. Funded under the European Commission’sLeonardo Transfer of Innovation scheme andmatch funded by European partners, theproject’s three key work packages have audited140 companies’ international communicationsrequirements, and shall develop and test materials to meet these needs.
