One of the problems felt by the participants in the project is that many students leave school before completing their courses or, in some cases, just go to school because they are obliged to. This problem is pointed out in many guiding documents of the schools, such as in the Educational Project of each school and in the evaluation of the schools made by the Ministry of Education.
The project is
The main objective of this project is to instigate and develop a childhood obesity prevention programme in the educational community.
The programme must achieve a double objective: That the proposed measures are implememted correctly and that it is sustainable over time. It will be developed both within the school and the local community, calling upon external support to ensure economic viability.
It is important to pay special attention to helping disabled students cope and manage their lives – that they receive an education according to their abilities, that they would find a suitable job, and live a purposeful life.
