Erasmus Charter for Higher Education ECHE - Light Procedure

Scope:

This Call aims at accrediting Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) located in eligible countries which have operational capacity to take part in the Erasmus+ Programme’s activities, such as learning mobility of individuals and/or cooperation for innovation and good practices.

Topic 1 is open only for HEIs that:

• have participated in Erasmus+ activities in calls published from 2017 onwards and
• are in compliance with the ECHE principles.

Only applicants notified by their Erasmus+ National Agency as selected for the light procedure are admitted to this topic. If this is not the case, the HEI needs to apply for topic 2 (Full Procedure) or will be automatically excluded from the selection process.

HEIs should indicate their Erasmus code in their application, and use their existing PICwith the Erasmus code. OIDs cannot be used!

Eligible applicants

In order to be eligible, the applicant must:

• be a higher education institution (HEI) (public or private) and
• be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.Erasmus+ Programme Countries: 
  • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
  • non-EU countries: 
    • listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme (associated countries) or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature

Deadline for the submission of applications and indicative date for selection results

The deadline for submitting applications is 10 June 2021

The indicative date of the publictaion of selection results is October 2021.

An Evaluation Committee will evaluate the applications against admissibility, eligibility and award criteria.
